Dunaújváros Airport is located near Kisapostag, just off Road 6 (near the 76 km marker). It’s a quick and simple drive – about 40 minutes from Budapest via the M6 motorway, with minimal traffic and no city delays.

BUDAPEST – DUNAÚJVÁROS AIRPORT – BUDAPEST
There is no direct public transport from Budapest to the skydiving location.
To reach the airport by public transport, you would need to combine bus or train + taxi, which can be confusing if you are unfamiliar with the area.
For international visitors, we strongly recommend using a private transfer to avoid delays, wrong connections, or missing your jump.
The drive takes approximately 40 minutes from Budapest, depending on pickup location and traffic.
💡 Good to know:
Budapest taxi fares to the jump location are almost double the price of our private transfer service.

Payment method
Transfer fees must be paid in CASH directly to the driver (EUR or HUF).
Important booking information
Please book your transfer in advance, ideally at the same time as your tandem skydive booking – and no later than 3 days before the jump date.
❌ Unfortunately, last-minute transfer bookings are not possible with the transfer company.
DRIVING HERE BY CAR
There are two easy ways to reach Dunaújváros Airport by car:

M6 motorway – the fastest option
(toll / vignette may apply), approx. 40 minutes from Budapest -
Road 6 – a toll-free alternative,
usually around 1 hour, depending on traffic
➡️ ON THE M6 MOTORWAY
(Arriving from both the north – Budapest, and the south – Pécs)

Leave the M6 motorway at Exit 75
(M8 / Pentele Bridge / Dunaújváros – South) -
Turn onto the M8 motorway
towards Baja / Dunaújváros / Dunaföldvár -
Take the first exit from the M8
and continue on Road 6 towards Dunaújváros / Dunaföldvár -
You will reach a roundabout –
take the first exit towards Dunaföldvár -
Shortly after the roundabout,
you’ll see the entrance to Kisapostag on the left
👉 Do NOT turn here -
Continue straight on Road 6 for approx. 500 metres
towards Pécs / Dunaföldvár -
The airport will be on the right-hand side of Road 6

Turn off Road 6 at the entrance marked
by a large “Dunaújváros Airport” sign above it
➡️ ON ROAD 6
Arriving from the north (from Budapest)

Take Road 6 towards
Dunaújváros / Dunaföldvár / Pécs -
Drive through Dunaújváros, staying on Road 6,
then continue for approx. 8 km -
Just before the M6 / M8 junction
and the Pentele Bridge, you will see
the Duna Petrol petrol station on the right,
followed by a roundabout -
At the roundabout, take the second exit
(straight ahead) towards Dunaföldvár -
Shortly after the roundabout,
the entrance to Kisapostag will be on the left
👉 Do NOT turn here -
Continue on Road 6 for approx. 500 metres

Turn off Road 6 at the entrance marked
by a large “Dunaújváros Airport” sign above it
Arriving from the south (from Pécs)

Take Road 6 towards
Dunaföldvár / Dunaújváros / Budapest -
After reaching Dunaföldvár,
continue on Road 6 for approx. 10 km -
The airport will be just off Road 6
on the left-hand side -

PUBLIC TRANSPORT
Unfortunately, there is no bus stop or railway station near Dunaújváros Airport.
If you choose public transport, you’ll need to combine bus or train + a local taxi to reach the jump location (approx. 9 km taxi ride).
💡 Good to know:
This is the cheapest option, but it requires planning and local awareness.
If you are unfamiliar with Hungarian public transport, we recommend choosing the Private Transfer option instead.
