Unfortunately, no – skydiving directly over Budapest is not permitted.

The airspace over Budapest and the surrounding 50 km area is classified as TMA (Terminal Maneuvering Area). Due to international air traffic, aircraft here are not allowed to ascend above 1,500 metres, which is too low for safe tandem skydiving.

🛫 Where do we jump instead?
All of our tandem skydives take place at Dunaújváros Airport, which is:

  • Just a 40-minute drive from Budapest via the M6 motorway
  • Outside restricted airspace
  • Approved for full-altitude skydives – up to 4,000 metres

🪂 Why it’s worth the trip:
At Dunaújváros, you’ll experience:

  • The full freefall from proper jump altitude
  • Amazing views of the Danube River and surrounding countryside
  • A safe, professional environment designed for tandem skydives
